If you’ve worked with a DTP before, none of this will feel out of place, which is good as it will help you get to work quickly and efficiently. You’ll find the toolbox on the sidebar on the left, inspector windows and tabs on the right, additional tools on the top bar, the main preview section taking up most of the screen real estate, and a list of your document’s pages, and assets to its left. Even though the icons and general interface has been polished and refined, the changes are minor, and mostly make for a more pleasant experience. If you’re familiar with the original Affinity Publisher, you’ll feel right at home.
